Titans Defense to be More "Aggressive"

Former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was suspended by the NFL for all of 2012 for his involvement I the Saints "bounty program", which attacked key offensive players to be injured for extra incentives.
Now Gregg Williams is the senior assistant of defense for the Tennessee Titans. Williams told the local media on Monday of his plans for the Titans to have a more aggressive defense in 2013:
“Aggressive is how we’re going to be and never ever, ever apologize for competing,” he said. “We want to be as attacking as we can on defense and we want to be able to set the tone at all times and so our offense can play off of that too.
“We’ll play exactly how we have to play from the toughness standpoint, from an effort standpoint. Those are the things we’ve talked about doing.”
This is pleasant news for Titans fans, as the defense has been very vanilla over the last few seasons under defensive coordinator Jerry Gray.
