OTA Update (6/10/13)

Jim Wyatt of the Tenessean and Titan Insider has published a report from Monday's OTA:
-Jake Locker and Nate Washington seem to be improving their chemistry. The two hooked up for a couple of nice passes in the practice today.
-Chris Johnson seems to be on the right track for 2013 after breaking out for a big run during today's practice. He appears to be in great shape, which is probably a result of attending the team's OTAs, unlike how he used to work out privately in Florida before he got his new contract.
-Fullback Colin Mooney has benefitted from the absence of fullback Quinn Johnson. Mooney could easily upset Johnson as the starting fullback in 2013.
-Receiver Michael Preston has been very impressive with 2nd round draft pick our of the University of Tennessee, Justin Hunter, being out with an injury. Look for Preston to be a surprise and take one of the last spots on the 53-man roster at the end of the Preseason.
-New Tennessee Titans middle linebacker, Moise Fokou, who was arrested earlier in the year on the suspicion of a DUO, has been taking reps with the 1st team over 2012 team captain Colin McCarthy, who spent much of the season hampered with injuries. Fokou may be taking reps with the 1st team because of McCarthy's injury or possibly because his playing ability may be superior. The motive for starting Fokou during the OTAs is unclear, but it will be resolved soon.
