TTN Daily Links: 6/12/13

Not a huge day in the NFL, but there is still some news to cover!

  • Receiver Nate Washington joined NFL Network and covered the Titans with their 32 in 32 series the other. From the sounds of it, the receivers understand that they are the key to opening up the run game for Chris Johnson, who has the ability to rush for 2,000 yards again, according to Nate Washington.
  • Many Titans fans, including myself, were excited about the news that Ravens fullback Vonta Leach was close to being released. Now, he has been released by Baltimore; however, he is not likely to be a Tennessee Titan. The three-time Pro Bowler has expressed a desire to play for Houston but is scheduled to visit Miami.
  • Rex Ryan still has an obsession with Mark Sanchez, who has been taking all of the first-team reps for the Jets. That marks one win for the Titans in 2013.
  • The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed former Eagles and Patriots backup quarterback Mike Kafka off the waiver after the signing of Tim Tebow to the Patriots. Kafka has the opportunity to start for the Jaguars in 2013, as the team does not have a starter-quality quarterback on the roster.

Evening Chat - Favorite Titans Memory

Good evening, Titan Talk Nation! I've been on the road all day returning from vacation, and I am so glad to be back home. While on my way back, I thought "What is everyone's favorite memory of the Titans?".
The Titans are my favorite sports team by far, and I have several good memories of them. I am a newer Titans fan, however. I did not begin watching their games until the 2008 season. i unfortunately missed the great Steve McNair and Eddie George; nevertheless, I have a huge appreciation for them and the team today.
My favorites have to be when we beat the Baltimore Ravens in 2011 and when we beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012. Two big wins against teams that I hate.
So, Titans fans, what is your favorite memory of the Tennessee Titans? Is it recent or does it date back to the Super Bowl season? Please introduce yourself and tell your favorite memory in the comments section below.

"Several #Titans who've missed time with injuries could return this wk. WR Justin Hunter (hammy) and TE Delanie Walker (knee) getting closer" - @jwyattsports
The Titans will be holding a three-day mini-camp next week, by which most of the injured players could be ready for return by.
